Class Descriptions

Sunset Yoga

We slow our practice down in this class, taking time to focus on the fundamentals of yoga, the body, the breath, and the mind. This class is for those looking for a gentle practice. It is suitable for beginners, for those who are dealing with injuries. This class incorporates gentle yoga movements (asana) to release tension, breathwork (pranayama) to calm the mind and nervous system, and we finish with a deep relaxation (Yoga Nidra). These classes are designed to ease stress and calm the mind and body.

Strength & Flexibility Flow - currently paused

Our general class offers the opportunity to drop deep within yourself, focussing on your mind, body and breath. You will flow through sequences coordinating with your breath to cultivate a state of moving meditation.

Students will:

  • Improve physical fitness, building strength and encouraging greater flexibility

  • Learn yogic breathing techniques to reduce stress and improve health and wellbeing

  • Connect with an inner stillness to enhance a feeling of calm and clarity

Prenatal Yoga - currently paused but private classes available

Taking time out for you and your baby to deeply connect and for you to nurture yourself is incredibly important for your health and wellbeing during pregnancy. Our prenatal yoga classes are designed to support you during each stage of your pregnancy and help prepare you for not only birthing your baby but giving you skills to support you throughout motherhood.

Sunrise Yoga

Sunrise Yoga – For most of us, early morning is one time of the day we can be alone, without demands and distractions. Surya Namaskar is the perfect morning practice to awaken the body, focus the mind, and connect to a sense of gratitude for the new day. An extra one to two hours of sleep cannot equal the energy of the sunrise. Join us each morning, Monday to Friday at 7am to practice Surya Namaskar variations and start the day with positive energy.

Fertility Yoga

This class is for women who are preparing to conceive, trying to conceive and for women undergoing Assisted Reproductive Treatment. Our focus is on the best yoga poses for hormonal and reproductive health, also meditations, visualisations and breathing techniques to calm the mind and the nervous system. You will discover how to practice yoga in a way that optimises your fertility health, is safe and nourishing for you.

Yoga Therapy

One to one classes are an opportunity to learn which yogic practices will benefit your unique needs. It is also a great way to get started with a regular home practice that is personally designed for you.

Yoga therapy requires a commitment to a minimum of three 60-minute sessions. The first session will be a thorough consultation and counselling session to establish your needs and goals so that an individualised plan can be written for you. The subsequent sessions will involve you learning your practice and an opportunity to revise and further adjust your practice for maximum benefit for you.

Tanya specialises in private classes for women dealing with women's health issues such as:
