21 day Sunrise Yoga Journey
Sun Salutations can be practised at any time of the day, yet the early hours of the morning are considered especially successful for yoga and meditation practice. For many of us, early in the morning is the one time of the day that we can be alone, without demands and the distractions of everyday life. Rising that little bit earlier allows you to experience inner stillness and offer your energy to a greater intention for the day.
The hour just before sunrise is called Brahma muhurta ("time of God") and the mind is said to be the most calm and clear at this time, Ayurveda recommends that one awake at this time every day, which is why we’ve tailored our Sunrise Yoga Journey to this peaceful moment in the day.
Surya Namaskar –
Surya is Sanskrit for ‘sun’ and Namaskar means 'to bow,' to recognize with your whole being.
During this practise, we visualise the sun inside of our heart as part of Surya Namaskar is recognising the light within yourself. The celebration of being alive builds in the essence of this practice.
Surya Namaskar is the perfect morning practise to awaken the body, focus the mind, and connect to a sense of gratitude for the new day. An extra one to two hours of sleep cannot equal the energy of the sunrise.
Starting February 1st, join us each morning on Zoom for our 21 day Sunrise Yoga Journey to practice Surya Namaskar daily at 6.15am to build long lasting habits and start every day energised and flowing with positivity.
*Weekend classes are pre-filmed for you to enjoy in your own time.
At only $60 for your 21 day Journey, you’ll pay less than $3 per sunrise yoga class.

This is what some of our clients have said about the 21-day Sunrise Yoga Journey.
“The morning sunrise routine and commitment was a strong but peaceful heartbeat through the darkness of lockdown and winter.
Up before the rest of the household, I was able to practice in quiet, and then have time to think and meditate on the day ahead.
Lockdown challenges had time to be put into perspective, personal feelings had the space to be considered and when necessary, put in check.
I was able to turn up in my pj’s, (sssh, nobody knew), and within minutes shake off the fog of sleep and allow energy and light to enter in.
I am back to being a morning person, back to be energised before my morning coffee, and back to being in charge of the day that lays ahead of me.
Forever thankful for the strength and blessings that come from practising yoga with Tanya.
Can’t wait for the next sessions to start – the commitment helps me show up for the blessings that are waiting.”
